Alberta Beef Producers (ABP) held two virtual meetings on Thursday, September 30, 2021. The ABP Semi-Annual Meeting gathered delegates for program and financial updates, and to provide input on strategic direction for the organization. The delegate body reviewed and passed the 2021-22 ABP Strategic Plan.
A Town Hall followed the Semi-AGM with an update from ABP Chair Dr. Melanie Wowk and a presentation from AFSC on the 2021 Canada-Alberta Livestock Feed Assistance initiative, available under the AgriRecovery program. Zone breakout sessions were held for producers to participate in discussion, engage with local delegates, and bring forward resolutions.
Further information on the 2022 Producer Meetings and Election will be available in the November issue of the ABP Magazine, and posted here on ABPdaily.com.
